Hi Daniel and Tom! I’m Kutay, a CS student at Bilkent with a deep interest in mechanistic interpretability and model steering. I’ve been following Goodfire’s groundbreaking work since your founding, especially since the announcement of Ember (before it had a name). I’m especially intrigued by your work on productionizing interpretability work and would love to contribute to advancing interpretability at scale.

My full-stack engineering experience at The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (working with Java, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and Next.js) positions me well to contribute to both research implementations and production systems like Ember and other upcoming projects.
I offer a combination of research experience in interpretability, practical engineering skills, and a demonstrated interest in Goodfire’s specific research directions. I can contribute across the stack - from core research to production implementations - while growing alongside the team.
